I couldn't figure out how to monitor preset dim compound commands directly in one program if statement so I've set up a program folder to allow programs within it to run every time the J6 address is received.Īllow the programs in this folder to run. For my Homeseer serial / USB port expansion of stuff I used mostly those RJ45 to RS-232 to cat5e to bring the cables from the hardware to the Digi Edgeports to the Digi USB hubs. You then specify the external IP address of your router when starting tenScripting, and your router will direct the connection to your HS computer. The thermostat will send a J6 Preset Dim 0% to indicate it's OFF. First, you must tell your router/firewall to open and forward to your HomeSeer server a port for tenScripting to use, TCP port 10400.
This is resulting in a very clunky automation file and there is a slight delay while each node is updated, one at a time. Currently, If I want to send the same configuration to multiple nodes, I repeat the service data under the action for each node I want to configure.
Thermostat preset dim Report Status responses occur on J6. I have a few automations set to send the tconfigparameter on certain triggers. Preset dim Request Status commands go out on the J5 housecode. Does anyone monitor a RCS TX-15B or TX-16 X10 thermostat with their ISY? I believe that I know how to send X10 preset dim commands to the thermostat but monitoring its response is where I'm having difficulty.
